Fail!

I wanted to carve Mini-Me´s nostrils. First I tried with a knife, but then I wanted to try my multi-tool.

Hahaha it got stuck in her hair!! But always think positive; atleast she got a nice hair do ;)

Lego box (also added to the giveaway)

My son is going through a period when he´s just thinking of lego all the time.
I promised to make a lego box in miniature for him yesterday before he went to sleep, and started immediately when he fell asleep.
I took pictures of a box and measured all the dimensions and made all the images in the correct size on the computer. I had worked for a while and then I pushed some wrong button so that everything I had done disappeared. I was more and more tired, but I had promised my son, so I would keep my promise that it would be ready in the morning =)
So I did everything over again, but was falling asleep all the time. But finally it was finished and I printed a few boxes and glued together one of them. Just when I had printed them out, there was something wrong with the image software again and it all disappeared before I could save the finished pictures. typically. but I was atleast smart and wrote out many at the same time before it shut down.

So I thought I'd add a lego box in the giveaway too =) I shall rewrite the giveaway post for now it's not just empty moving boxes that I give, but boxes with content =) each today I put in something new, so in the end it will probably be pretty much =)

Mini tape adding to the craft room and giveaway

Today I did a chair for the craft room, but I havnt made up my mind how I feel about it yet, so I wait with posting it on the blog =)

But one thing I was very pleased with were tape rolls I did! They were so small and cute and it's so funny that you can really use the tape too! =)

I'll put some in the giveaway I have right now. I'll add more stuff there, when I have done something I have a few extra of =)

Project right now: Craft room for Mini-Me

Even before I got my Blythe doll, I started a little on a craft room. The idea is that I should do it like the way I would like to have it myself . So far I have made a desk, small clay packaging and wrappingpaper rolls. I'm thinking of using the shelf I did in 1:12 before, as storage, I think it would work well for yarn etc. I shall maybe repaint it either just white, or any other color.

Absolutely wonderful weather!

Mini-Me enjoying the sun and the vacation. She has taken a break from decorating the apartment and are sunbathing and taking it easy out on the balcony.

Moving in

Mini-Me moved in a while ago.

Now, all her furniture and stuff arrived with the moving van.
She had some banana boxes and some furniture that she bring to the apartment.

They are quite heavy...

DONE!

At last she have everything in the apartment and can put hereself down for a while and take a breather.

Mini-Me

I decided to do a "mini-me". Since I never show pictures of me, you can see me in miniature instead =) I changed her hair and made similar glasses that I have. I have removed the makeup and sanded the face. She should get new makeup later.

Custumization on my blythe

Today I made very much with my new blythe that I received yesterday. I have opened her head and made a gaze correction, sleepy eyes and also changed her body. No wonder she became tired.

My blythe is finally here!

Now I've got my Blythe doll! (or that's two dolls but they are the same) One, I packed up but the other may be left in the plastic until I'll customize her.
Here's what she looks like:

I thought they looked a little scary when they were wrapped in plastic with starring eyes but it felt better when I removed it ;)

It's really hot weather today but she doesnt have to be naked. Yesterday, I made a dress that fits quite well. I´ll redo it later and put some decorations on.

I'll get started right away and sandpaper her face and carv the mouth. I´ll post pictures of the process later =)

She looks a little bit like me, we have almost the same haircolor (its my hair to the left) =)
What do you think, should I customize her so that she looks like me, or should I change hair color on her?

Waiting for my Blythe

I´m still waiting for my Blythe doll, but I have started preparing until she comes.
I've decided that I should do different environments with things that I love to do in 1/6 for her.
I LOVE to move and come to a new place with new conditions of life and new adventures and challenges. Coming into a new home is very exciting, and to decorate it so that it is cozy.
So now I have done lot of moving boxes for her and little things to be packed up later =) Then you can follow her new life in Sweden here on my blog =)
I have also started making a craft room for her. I can not wait until she's here!
Right now I'm doing a Chinese-Swedish dictionary so she can learn the language ;)

Oh, I forgot to mention, today I ordered a new balljointed body for her also. An

first time makeing 1:6 miniatures

I´m so eager to do things for my new blythe doll that I have ordered, so I have started doing some stuff already.
Barbie will be the model until my blythe arrive =)
I've never done things in 1:6 scale before and do not really like that it is so large, it is easier to do things in a smaller scale, but some things should I do anyways, so I soon put up more things in the blog in scale 1:6

Blythe dolls =))

Oh I'm so happy! I dyed my hair today (pink) and when I sat at the computer again, I looked for cheap blythe dolls. I had not really thought about buying one now, but still, I checked around a bit.
The first doll I found cost only $ 47! I was so excited and thought long and hard if I really should spend money on a doll this month .. And decided that YES I will =)
So I didn´t just buy one doll, but TWO =) One of them I'll leave as it is, while the othe I will make new hair, new makeup, etc. for =) I'm sooo happy! I can hardly wait until I can start making clothes for it and other things. Here's how it looks (I dont get the dress):

1:6 doll

I just had to buy a 1:6 doll. I have wanted to make clothes and shoes in 1:12 but realized that it was really difficult.

So now I finally bought a 1:6 doll to try to make some high heels and nice clothes.

I will continue to do most miniatures in 1:12 and 1:144, but it will be some 1:6 too =)
Interior design is easiest to do on a smaller scale, but the clothes I make bigger.
It will be interesting to try =)
