Update again on the 1:48 house

How hard can it be to post photos next to each other on the blog?? I'm going crazy! I have tried to post pictures three times but it all goes wrong. I give up and they will be under each other then...
 
I finally got up the wallpaper and flooring in all rooms. It is so small so it's a little hard to take pictures of all the rooms. I have started doing some furniture. The kitchen is started and I have done a green child bed.

Inspiration for my 1:48 house

I will do as the interior design blogs, when they put up the inspiration for the rooms as a collage . 

Yesterday I searched for wallpaper to my 1:48 house. I want to have it modern but saw a really nice photo wallpaper and I saw  what I should do = ) At first I had thought of doing a nature theme in only one of the bathrooms , when you´ll enter the the tiny bathroom- suddenly you are in  a forest and that will be the wowfactor of the house. Theree you can sit on the toilet and dreaming away.But once I had put up the wallpaper I realized that it would be really nice to have that as a theme throughout the house. It should not be too much, for I still want the house modern and simple, but it will be a little bit of nature in all rooms , more or less .

So at the bottom you can see then how the wallpaper in the small bathroom looks. It will be dark wallpaper on the other walls and green carpet that looks like moss or grass. Then I had planned to make a toilet paper holder of a small stick and it should sit a mini bird on . Maybe a mushroom decoration on the floor.In he living room it shall be a fireplace with hanging chairs, maybe lounge chairs or a sofa ,blankets and other cozy stuff = )In the master bedroom there should be a wallpaper with a misty forest. it´s very beautiful, a big bed with lot of pillows on top.

In one of the children's rooms there will be gray wooden floors and white walls. Of course, there should be pennants =) It will be many beautiful colors in the decor of the room, while it's a bit simpler colors in the other rooms. And a dollhouse should be there too =)

I have not planned all the rooms yet (I always want to have a picture in my head before I start to put in things) But the house is really fun to do and it really is another experience to do a house with a open roof instead of a house that is open on the front.

Now I have made windows and higher walls. Tomorrow I´ll start makeing the furniture and wallpapers =) this is fun =)

My first 1:48 scale house

This is my new project. A house in 1:48 scale. I just got the walls done and now I´ll start cutting out doors and windows. To be continued =)

bed and lamp

I have made a bed today. But I have to buy some dishsponges and do the matress. I also made the lamp.
As you can see- I don´t have that many pictures to hang on the wall, so as you can see there are the same pictures in many scenes =)

Getting ready for the fair

Now the fair approaches and I try to be finished with as many miniatures as possible.  
Right now I'm making lamps, beds and carpets. I run out of color in my printer so there is many things I cant continue right now. but now I have ordered them so I hope to be able to continue with the 1:144 furnitures tomorrow. 
I am thinking that I maybe will make some room boxes to sell on  the fair too.

Perhaps those who buy them can glue it themselves, so it doesnt take so much space on our little table.
 
I have discovered how helpful it is to use spray paint instead of regular paint on furniture. It goes so much faster and will be so much smoother than when using a brush. I'll buy more spray paints now =)

I WON!!

Oh I'm so happy! 
I usually never win anything, but now I won a calendar from the shopping serpa! I really wanted to win it but didnt think I would. So I took a look at her blog later and saw that I had won!I was so nervous that I had seen it too late and that she had appointed another winner.  
But luckily it was not too late and she sent the wonderful calendar to me =) I'm so happy! 
It will get a nice place in my craftroom =)
