Messy bed tutorial

I learned a great thing on Elisabeth´s blog (studioeminiatures.blogspot.com)
How to make fabric crumple, draped, nice folded, or just messy looking.
This is how I did it:

I doublefolded and cut out a piece of tin foil, a little bigger than the mattress.
Then I cut out the fabric I had chosen, a little larger than the foil.
Glue the entire area of foil that lies against the fabric so that it is fixed to it.

I put glue on all sides of the foil and folded the fabric.
And it´s done!

Then you can fold the fabric as you want it.
(and you can also do the same method on curtains)

Maybe the minipeople have a cat lying under the covers.
Or someone who hides... or doing other things...

    1. Hello =) Yes, I took a look at your blog and I am so happy to see all the nice miniatures you have there =) And I also saw that you had made a summary of 2012, it's such a good idea! I think I also will do that. It's fun for readers but I think that it can also be fun for yourself to see later what you did in the past year =) Have you been working on something over the weekend? It will be fun to follow what you do. All the best! Anna

    1. I think I write in English when I reply to your comments, I use google translate to see what you have written and translated into Spanish when I answer, but it's probably easier to write in English =) Have a good week you!
