Cakes

I have had many hobbies and interests over the years.  
When my son was little, I had cake decoration as an interest and took every opportunity to make a new cake. It was an expensive hobby and I liked actually only to decorate the cakes, not make the contents or eat them. But to decorate and come up with new ideas is really fun.
The sad thing to have such a hobby was that every creations were eaten, and if I had forgotten to take pictures of the cake, there was nothing left at all.  
But now that I have miniatures as a hobby, I realized that I can still keep my interest for decorating cakes, but in miniature! Then I can save the cakes, and I dont have to think about the filling to taste good. =) So now I'll buy some fimo and make new cake creations.

    Your cakes are beautiful! I am especially drawn to the last one, the sleeping baby. Too cute!

      thank you =) do you make miniature cakes and stuff? it would be fun if anyone did a cake with one of my cakes as inspiration =)

    Beautiful cakes you've baked, you clearly have skills in patisserie. All are beautiful but the birds are my favorite. You will make such beautiful cakes in fimo, enjoy the work.

      thank you Wyrna =) I´m glad you like them =) I hope that it wont be to hard to do cakedekorations in miniature. I´ll gice it a try =)

    Wow! så fina, du kommer ju kunna göra massa jättefina minitårtor. Jag har alltid gillat att göra minitårtor, men kan inte baka på riktigt, eller jag har inte tålamod till det, men jag älskar att äta tårtor ;)
    Mina minitårtor är inte så kreativa som dina tårtor, jag får väl göra fler sen med inspiration av dig =)

    Du är duktig på många sätt :) Jättefina tårtor har du gjort. jag gillar mest den med picknick tema samt den när vide fyller två år, glömde namn på figuren :)

    Hi Anna, I like the owl cake and judging by the photo, others also really liked it too! Yum! A lot of full-sized skills are transferable into minis and since you already have the skill and the patience to decorate them Big then your mini cakes will no doubt be a cinch for you, with all your talents! Your range of decorating styles are great, which is YOUR favorite cake?
